Award Categories
Research and Judging for all the award categories will be extremely thorough. Napier University Business School have teamed up with Scottish Business Insider for the 2010 event and the knowledge and expertise of their graduates will ensure that a comprehensive pack is made available to our panel of experienced and respected judges. In the past our judging panel has been chaired by Eric Hagman CBE, Chairman, AON Scotland and Norman Murray, Chairman, Cairn Energy.

All awards will be presented to winners at the Awards Ceremony & Dinner on Thursday 20th May 2010, Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.

The 2010 award categories are:
Best Large Firm - Accountancy firms with over 501 partners and staff.
Best Medium Firm - Accountancy firms with between 151 and 500 partners and staff.
Best Small Firm - Accountancy firms with less than 150 partners and staff.
Fastest Growing Firm - Based on fee income/number of staff increase/client base.
Team to Watch - A team which has made an outstanding difference/major impact for clients and increased growth.
Team of the Year - The winning team will be a cut above the rest. Their track record will be impressive and consistent.
Tax Adviser of the Year - For an individual or team who must be client focused and able to present good results for their clients.
Highest Achieving Accountant of the Year - This award will go to the Accountant whose achievements provide a benchmark for others to follow. The judges will be looking for examples of exceptional flair and talent.
Young Accountant of the Year - Accountants which have qualified within the last 15 years and who have demonstrated leadership, contributed to strong growth, presented innovative solutions and demonstrated good client service. Entrants should also have entrepreneurial flair and be good team players.

 

Finalists

Shorlisted nominations will be posted onto the website by Monday 19th April.


Winners

Details of the 2010 Scottish Accountancy Award winners will be posted onto the site on Friday 21st May 2010.

Entry Criteria

Please complete a separate on-line nomination form for each of the categories you wish to nominate in. Your online nomination should be kept simple (no more than 500 words). On submission of the entry form, the nominee will then be issued a comprehensive questionnaire by our research team. This questionnaire will provide the judging panel with the information they require. When answering the questionnaire the following should be taken into consideration:
