How to Nominate
Nominations for the 2010 event are now closed.
The Insider Scottish Accountancy Awards in association with Hudson Accounting & Finance recognise achievements across the financial services sector. As we see a glimmer of confidence returning to the marketplace, this event promises to be an excellent opportunity for networking and creating new business opportunities.
Obviously the success of the awards depends on the quality of the entries, which is why you are invited to nominate in as many categories as you wish which will then be put forward for our independent panel of expert judges to consider.
Nomination Closing Date is Wednesday 7th April @ 5.00pm. This is quick and easy to do, just select your category, complete all your details and provide a short reason (no more than 500 words) for your nomination.
On receipt of your online nomination the nominee will be issued a questionnaire from our research team at Napier University Business School.
Deadline for submitting completed questionnaires - Friday 9th April @ 5.00pm.
To be shortlisted for any of the 2010 award categories highlights that your work is recognised in the industry and is proof of your success. Shortlisted entries will be published on this website by Monday 12th April 2010.
All awards will be presented at the Awards Ceremony and Dinner.

General Nomination Guidelines
- You should complete a separate on-line nomination for each category you wish to nominate. You may enter as many as you wish and you can self nominate.
- All nominations should be made online. If you experience any problems with nominating please contact Jackie Malloy, Events Manager, Insider Events, Tel 0141 309 3549 or email jmalloy@insider.co.uk
- When answering the questionnaire nominees must ensure that all sections of the selected award criteria are referred to.
- You must answer all questions. Please note that whilst we may be asking for confidential information, all members of the judging panel are asked to sign confidentiality agreements and all judging packs are left behind at the end of the meeting. These are then destroyed and no confidential information will be published in any of the event material.
- When returning the questionnaire you should ensure that consideration is given to the presentation of the document and that everything is presented clearly. This will help the judging panel when reviewing the content.
- Any documents which cannot be easily copied/printed, please send 10 copies so they can be distributed to the entire judging panel.
- The judging panel’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
