Do you know a Scot who goes the extra mile every day but never asks for any recognition or reward? Please tell us about that person who makes your home or community special. Four nominees will receive an unsung hero award and one will be named our ultimate 2012 Great Scot

Community Champion Award

This award is aimed at celebrating and recognising an individual who works tirelessly to improve the lives of people within their local community.

Entertainment Award

There are so many ways to entertain; song, dance, comedy, writing. If you want to reward a famous Scot such as Billy Connelly or Annie Lennox, tell us why they are your Entertainment Award winner.

Sport Award

Do you know someone who through their hard efforts and determination has achieved extraordinary sporting achievements? Or perhaps someone who spends their free time training others in a sport they love? Who do you think deserves recognition for their dedication to sport?

Business Award

This award is for Scot's in the world of commerce. Previous winners include John Boyle, Duncan Bannatyne and Jennifer Cheyne

Charity Award

This award recognises a person or group who have excelled in supporting a good cause.

Lifetime Achievement Award

The lifetime achievement award goes to someone who has made a contribution of outstanding significance in their field over a number of years.
