The Scottish Health Awards 2009 will be held at the Corn Exchange, Edinburgh on Wednesday 11th November. These awards will recognise and reward Scotland’s most committed and caring NHS workers.
We are looking to give recognition to the workers in NHS Scotland and those working in health services who are prepared to go the extra mile. People who might be in jobs that
normally don’t have a high profile and who generally should be recognised for their commitment to the NHS and their loyalty and devotion to their patients. People who genuinely make a difference.
• Tell us about these healing heroes and/or the teams they work with
• What did they do that was special or new?
• What difference did it make?
There is a category for every NHS worker and the areas they work in – whether it’s the local doctors’ or dental practice, the support workers, the nursing teams, ambulance department or women and children’s services. No matter what their title, or where they are based, if they’ve made a difference, we want to know. They must work for NHS Scotland, with the exception of the Healthy Lifestyle, Community and Unsung Hero Award nominees.
