Scottish Health Awards 2010
Thursday 11th November 2010, The Corn Exchange, Edinburgh

The Scottish Health Awards 2010 will be held at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh on Thursday 11th November 2010. These awards will recognise and reward Scotland's most committed and caring NHS workers.

We are looking to give recognition to the workers in NHS Scotland and those working in health services who are prepared to go the extra mile. People who might be in jobs that normally don’t have a high profile and who generally should be recognised for their commitment to the NHS and their loyalty and devotion to their patients. People who genuinely make a difference.

• Tell us about these healing heroes and/or the teams they work within.

• What did they do that was special or new?

• What difference did it make?

You will find a category for every NHS worker and the areas in which they work - whether it's the local doctor's or dental practice, the support workers, the nursing teams, paramedics or women and children's services. No matter what their title, or where they are based, if they have made a difference, we want to know about it.

Your nominee must work for NHS Scotland, with the exception of the Health & Life Improvement, Community Care and Unsung Hero categories.

The closing date for nominations is 5pm on Monday 6th September 2010
