The Scottish Restaurant Awards 2012 in association with Business7 and 5pm.co.uk are taking place in the Glasgow Science centre on Monday 27th February 2012. These awards, now in their fifth year, acknowledge the outstanding creativity, customer service and top quality dining that is on offer throughout Scotland.
Scottish Restaurant Awards supported the Fishermen's Mission at this year's event and raised £1070.

As dining out is a big part of life in Scotland, the restaurant trade is a vital component in the essence of Scottish life, as both an employer and as a service provider. 
Whether it's fine dining or good value family meals, these awards celebrate and reward Scotland's very best restaurants in their field across fourteen categories.
The winners whether they are the restaurants, restaurateurs or chefs they all are setting the standards for others in the industry to aspire to.
The 2011 winners were diverse with a geographical spread throughout Scotland. The top accolade of Restaurant Of The Year was won by Smiths of Uddingston.
