Research Team
David Livingstone Centre for Sustainability (DLCS) in the University of Strathclyde, is a centre of sustainability research and postgraduate studies. The Centre operates across all disciplines and practices to address the principles and requirements of sustainability. The intention is to reconcile the needs of people and the environment and to enable present needs to be met without compromising those needs and choices of future generations. The DLCS works closely with businesses, professional bodies, individuals and governments to develop solutions to major global problems and local needs.
Dr Janey Andrews coordinates business-focused training within the DLCS, and whose work and research include Knowledge Management and the relationships between knowledge systems and business environmental performance.
Mr Peter Booth is Director of the DLCS, and whose work and research include applied sustainable management, environmental appraisal and policy formulation.
Dr Elsa João is Director of Postgraduate Studies in DLCS, and whose work and research include strategic environmental assessment and environmental entrepreneurship.
