awards & leadership lecture
The awards, which mark the achievements of the outstanding leaders in
the Scottish corporate and public sectors, are being held in the prestigious surroundings of Raddison SAS in Glasgow on Wednesday 7nd October 2009.
The well renowned Alastair Campbell, best known for his role as former Prime Minister Tony Blair’s press secretary and director of communications, will be presenting the leadership lecture this year. Drawing on his experience of ten years alongside Tony Blair, and his considerable understanding of the modern media, he specialists in strategy, making change, dealing with the media and crisis management. Dozens of testimonials from a wide variety of businesses, organisations and conference organisers have paid tribute to his skills as an engaging and innovative speaker able to apply his insights and experience to the work of others with wit and passion. Often controversial, and always prepared to speak his mind, he is willing, indeed keen, to include a question and answer session at the end of his presentation.
